Sgrafitto Pendant Light
The Sgraffito Pendant Light is a hand crafted down light that will bring texture and colour to your room. We use a Sgraffito or “scratching” technique here on the surface of our wax model. Upon completion the wax is steamed away leaving the imprint in the casting mould which the glass melts into upon firing in the kiln. Colours melt into one another leaving traces of light and dark while the scratched texture remains a matte finish, the raised surface is brought up to a satin finish.

Available in Amber or Brick Crimson - also available in other bespoke colours so please ask if there is a colour you have in mind for your project.
All pieces are hand cast in our studio in Kent by one of our on site artisans.
