Parallel Lines: Three Person Show in Amberg Germany. September 24th 2011
Following the success of my last three summer Academies in Bildwerk, Frauenau I am exhibiting this year in Germany, with UK artist and Autobahn pilot Nicola Ransom and German artist Marion Mack . Amberg is a charming Medieval walled city in the Oberfalz region of north Bavaria, we are showing for three weeks from the 25th September to 15th October in the AKT Gallery at 4 Veihmarkt The Vernissage is on the 24th Sept at 7.30.
The themes and techniques of the three bodies of work are somehow connected, with my own contribution based around ‘Experiments with Plants’.
Also I have been collaborating on some brand new work with Marion Mack that uses floating inclusions inside groups of Apotheke Bottles that will be on show at the same time in the Stadtmuseum in an old Apothecary shop.
